The second part of this webinar (Friday 12 June, 3.30pm to 5.05pm) will aim to examine services that are available and in particular focus on treatment of autistic people within secure hospitals. It will feature Professor Peter Langdon, University of Warwick, Dr John Devapriam, Medical Director, Worcestershire Health & Care NHS Trust, Ms Vicki Malcolm, Occupational Therapist, Service Users from Opening Doors, a charity working in this area and Professor Regi Alexander, President Elect, RSM, Intellectual Disability Forum. - Examine treatment of people with Autism who are detained in secure hospitals under the Mental Health Act
- Examine services for people with developmental disabilities detained under the Mental Health Act
- Examine service user views on moving on after treatment under the Mental Health Act
