Sam Hoare is a public health physician who has previously worked with MSF in Sierra Leone and Turkey. He’s just returned from Uganda where he was working on an emergency health surveillance system in Palorinya refugee settlement, Northern Uganda, where almost 150,000 South Sudanese people have gathered since renewed conflict broke out in July 2016.
